Donate to help children play 'naturally'

It’s a fact. Our kids are spending more time inside, and less time outdoors. The “Great Outdoors” isn’t all that great to them anymore. Like you, the Alberta Council for Environmental Education (ACEE) knows its important to increase outdoor play. It’s essential for children's well-being and to connect them with nature. We can no longer take for granted that things we enjoyed as children, like making mud pies or nature scavenger hunts, will happen ‘naturally’.

With your support, we can make outdoor play more ‘natural’. Through the Get Outside and Play Network and Get Outside and Play Week, ACEE is working to normalize outdoor play, align and develop policy governing child play places, and assess and improve existing play places so children truly benefit from being outside.
