Calgary - How to increase climate literacy through your education and outreach programs

Registration is closed for this event

In the fall of 2017 and winter of 2018, the Alberta Council for Environmental Education will be hosting full day sessions in communities across Alberta that will dive deep into best practices for climate education and outreach and give you the time to consider how you can begin incorporating these practices into your programs.

About the workshop. Participants will...

  • Learn more about excellent climate change education and outreach, and share their ideas
  • Understand climate change effects (present, and future) in your region
  • Have their top-of-mind questions answered by colleagues, in open space sessions
  • Consider how to increase climate literacy through your education and outreach programs - then roll up their sleeves, and take the first steps
  • Strengthen their local learning community and network

This is a working session, and participants are strongly encouraged to attend with other members of their team.  A registration fee of $15 dollars covers all workshop materials and a networking lunch.
