WIN a Trip to Jasper National Park
Are you part of a group (school, youth group or club) of youth between the ages of 13-19? Do you live in Alberta? How about winning a trip to Jasper to explore and learn for two full days?

The Prize - A trip to Jasper in the spring of 2015!
This prize package is valued at $3000 and includes:
Transportation - A ParticipACTION Teen Challenge grant valued at $500 to put towards your transportation costs (your group is responsible for paying transportation costs over and above the $500)
Food - One supper at Parks Canada's Palisades Stewardship Education Centre & access to the hostel’s self-catering kitchen.
Accomodation - Free accommodations of 25 beds for one night at Hostelling International in Jasper (value $400). Additional beds can be negotiable as required, subject to availability.
Tours - the three activities listed below are included in the prize:
- Jasper Raft Tours – Jasper's most friendly rafting float trips take you down the Athabasca River for a fun filled Alberta wilderness adventure. Your group is invited to travel with us and share our love of white-water, wilderness, and friendship. Our rafting trips are great for young and old alike looking for a more mild adventure.
- Palisades Stewardship Education Centre (Parks Canada) - This is Parks Canada's signature youth engagement program and welcomes your group/class to an afternoon of stewardship activities and games, a hearty dinner, more activities and a campfire.
- Jasper Tramway – The experience of being gently transported into Jasper National Park’s alpine tundra will captivate your group and is merely the beginning of an experience everyone will cherish. Jasper Tramway is the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada and the only guided aerial ropeway in the Canadian Rockies. Providing visitors with unprecedented views of six mountain ranges, glacial fed lakes, the Athabasca river (Alberta’s longest) and the scenic mountain townsite of Jasper.
Claiming the Prize - you need to be able to claim the prize on one of the following dates:
- June 3rd to 4th, 2015
- June 4th to 5th, 2015
- June 12 to 13th, 2015

How to Enter
1. Spend time outside! You don't have to go far, the schoolyard or nearby park are great places to connect with the natural world.
2. Take photos of your group exploring and enjoying their time outdoors.
3. Click on the Enter Now button below to enter the contest by submitting your best photo and answer a few questions about what your group did outdoors.
4. DEADLINE: March 27 with winning group announced in early April.
Easy! You are then entered to win! We will have a random draw to select the winner.

You must be part of an organized group - school, youth group or club

You must follow your school, youth group or organization's safety and risk management policies. Your organization is fully responsible for the wellbeing and safety of the youth on this trip.

Group Size – maximum group size of 20 students and 5 chaperones. Larger group may be negotiated, minimum group size is 10 students with chaperones.
Contest Winner - Accepting the Prize

Accommodations and the trip activities must be confirmed by April 17th.

Youth and chaperones will be required to complete a media release form.

The contest winner will work with Hostelling International in Jasper to arrange accommodations and to coordinate the two tour activities.

You may be required to speak with local media from your area and possibly media in Jasper.

You will need to complete a ParticipACTION Teen Challenge grant application to receive the $500 grant to assist with transportation costs.
