How Can My School Become an EcoSchool?

Do you want to make use of EcoSchools Canada's fully-funded, safe, award-winning platform that supports and celebrates your school in providing students with meaningful sustainability and active citizenship learning experiences? 

1. Register on EcoSchools Canada's online application. Important tip: this step allows you to explore the EcoSchools online platform and all its resources.  There is NO OBLIGATION to complete actions or apply for certification.  
2. Explore the menu of over 50 actions available under the Action Library tab.  Each action comes with its own action guide and resources so you don't need to be an expert to get started!
3. Check out our planning resources, which will help you create an action plan specifically tailored to your school. 

4. Sign up for the EcoSchools Canada in Alberta mailing list so we can keep you up to date with resources, opportunities, and support.
