AYLEE members Logan, Jack, and Sasha, in partnership with Jodi Lammiman from Refugia Retreats, hosted a session titled Fostering Wellness and Compassion through Environmental Education at the 2022 Alberta School Councils Conference. Throughout the session, they shared data and research, personal stories, and resources on eco-anxiety and eco-grief. After the session, the presenters took time to reflect - the AYLEE members said that this was one of their favourite AYLEE experiences so far, they think it is important to continue discussing personal and community wellness as they move forward, and that they hope the session was as powerful for those in the audience as it was for them.
