Summer Institute for Climate Change Education

 

Join ACEE, Climate Generation, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for a three-day virtual conference on climate change education built by educators and climate change professionals from across North America! Gain the skills, tools, and resources to teach climate change in all subject areas.

This year's institute will focus on the following themes:

  • Climate Observations and Data
  • Climate Change Communication
  • Equity and Justice
  • Power of Education
  • Overcoming Barriers to Teaching

On July 20, join the Alberta/Canada cohort (one of 14 regional cohorts - see map) as we debrief and reflect on our learnings within the Alberta and Canadian contexts and work collaboratively on unit plans customized to your teaching practice.
