Recharge Conference

The Recharge conference is an opportunity for teachers and other educators from around Western Canada to recharge their classrooms, their programs and themselves with an indoor-outdoor environmental education conference, held in the beautiful rocky mountains.

The first Recharge conference was held May 23-25, 2019 at the Coast Hotel in Canmore. Intended to be annual, the 2020 conference was cancelled due to COVID-19. ACEE is exploring options to continue the conference in future years.

 

Highlights from Recharge 2019:

  • Over 50 workshops in environmental and energy education, many held outdoors amongst the stunning natural features of Canmore, Alberta.
  • Opportunities to network environmental education professionals and teachers who have incorporated environmental and energy education into their classrooms. 
  • The chance to Recharge, with morning yoga and abundant outdoor networking time, and a complimentary beverage at The Drake Inn on Friday.
