The Alberta Youth Leaders for Environmental Education have been awarded the 2022 Emerald Award in the Youth Legacy category! This award recognizes people, 25 years of age and under, who have made meaningful contributions and have taken positive action to improve the environmental health of their community.
Seven members alongside our Youth Program Coordinator represented the group at the award ceremony on June 1st and Sasha Adamova accepted the award on behalf of the team. Check out the video below to hear Sasha's acceptance speech.
